I am
leading the illustrares research group, a
multi-disciplinary team of researchers
studying fundamental and applied visual
computing research, addressing challenges
from Science, Engineering, Art/Design, and
related domains.
One of our
focal points is the ongoing investigation
and development of novel expressive visual
computing paradigms and software tools,
allowing users from multi-disciplines to
build, visualize, and analyze models more
intuitively and with new insights into
exploring their uncertainties.
Our
group's fundamental and applied research
in visual computing
has its foundation in five interrelated
Research Themes: (1) Non-Photorealistic
Rendering; (2) Sketch-based Interfaces
& Modeling, (3) Visualization &
Visual Analytics; (4) Modeling &
Simulation; and (5) Human-Data &
Computer Interaction.
Welcome to illustrares!
