The undergraduate Computer Science labs

The computer lab is located in the Math Sciences building

Getting into the lab

One of the three access doors does not require card access during normal business hours (weekdays from approximately 8 AM to around 4:30 PM). It's one of the two doors closest to Earth Sciences (near the triple elevators and washrooms on the first floor of Math Sciences).

Hours of operation

The computer lab is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  But to enter the lab outside of normal business hours (8 AM - 4 PM) you need card access (bring your University of Calgary student ID card close to the sensor).  Report troubles with card access to [campus security].   Your ID cards should be set up for access sometime after the final add/drop date (~2 weeks into the fall/winter semester).

Who can login into the lab/lab rooms

The lab is to be used only by students who are registered in a Computer Science class.  You can not only use the computers in the two rooms where first year tutorials are held (MS160 & MS176) but most any UNIX machine in the first floor lab in Math Sciences (i.e., all but the Windows computers).
