Location of the Math Sciences building
The computer lab is located in the Math Sciences building |
The computer lab is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. But to enter the lab outside of normal business hours (8 AM - 4 PM) you need card access (bring your University of Calgary student ID card close to the sensor). Report troubles with card access in the technical support help desk or the main Computer Science office (ICT602). Your ID cards should be set up for access sometime after the final add/drop date (~2 weeks into the fall/winter semester).
The lab is to be used only by students who are registered in a Computer Science class (except for those in CPSC 203). You can not only use the computers in the two rooms where first year tutorials are held (MS160 & MS176) but most any UNIX machine in the first floor lab in Math Sciences (i.e., all but the Windows computers).
