CPSC 203: Assignment One (Word Processing)

Description

For this assignment you are to write a report using MS-Word that describes your own experiences as a nursing student at the University of Calgary Qatar School of Nursing. The report should approximately be 6 to 8 pages in length (single spaced but including images and tables) although it's quality and not quantity that is important. If you can thoroughly cover all the topics or issues with a shorter report then that may be okay - but make sure that you don't miss anything important. Make sure that you provide the reader (Hilary) a clear and thorough discuss of the subject matter at hand. Don't assume that he will be an expert in the subject matter so if you start discussing terminology or concepts that are specific to nursing then you should take the time to define terms and describe the topic matter so he will be able to follow your report.

Important features of MS-Word to incorporate in your document:

• Images
• Fonts and font effects
• Tables (to organize the layout)
• Margins (you can keep the default values)
• Aligning text (unless there's a compelling reason your document should employ left alignment of text and images).
• Spell and grammar checking
• (I've left out obvious features like editing text, and the saving and opening of documents).
