  • Who created the Internet: 1 mark
 
  • What was the original purpose of the Internet: 2 marks
 
  • How did the original intended use for the Internet affect it's design (the path that data may take is dynamic): 2 marks
 
  • What are some of the ways that the Internet is currently used: 1 mark
 
  • Use of references to backup points: 2 marks
 
  • Format of the references: 1 mark
 
  • Contact information is provided on the cover page (Caution: if you have insufficient contact information then your marker may not even be able to provide you with a grade!): 2 marks
 

Functions to be used from MS-Word (24 marks)

 
  • Multiple fonts: 2 marks
 
  • Automatic page numbering: 4 marks (2 marks if the cover page is numbered, 0 marks if the page numbers are manually typed in)
 
  • The specified image was inserted on the cover page: 2 marks
 
  • The specified image on the cover page was properly cropped: 4 marks
 
  • Other images were used in the report: 2 marks
 
  • Figures were automatically captioned: 4 marks (0 marks if the captions were manually typed in)
 
  • The font type used for captions differed from the font used for the rest of the report: 2 marks
