CPSC 203 Assignment 7 (Worth: 3%, Due: April 9)

Learning objective: To gain practical experience creating a slide show presentation using PowerPoint.  Learning about some of the major functions of this program.

Requirements:  Create a slideshow using PowerPoint.  The presentation can be about any topic that you want.  This presentation should be approximately 5 - 10 slides in length and must include:

• Points that are organized either into bulleted or numbered lists (not all points have to use bullets or numbering but at least use either bullets or numbering at least once in your presentation).
• Pictures (images or clip art) that enhance your presentation (include at least one image or clip art picture).
• Utilization of  the Master Document feature in PowerPoint to produce consistent format (layout and background) and to have one constant and reoccurring piece of  information appear in every slide e.g., author slides by having your name show up on each one (like I do with my 203 notes).

Marking guide:  In addition to ensuring that your slide show appears consistent and presentable, please make sure that your submission meets the following criteria:

1. Use of either a bulleted or numbered list.
2. The addition of pictures (at least one) to enhance the slide show presentation.
3. The use of the Master Document feature in PowerPoint as described in Point #3 above.

The inadequate completion of each of these criteria will result in the loss of a letter grade (e.g., "A" to "B").

Grading: This assignment will be graded by letter grade ("A", "B", "C", "D" or "F").

Submission of assignment: Present the slide show in lab to your TA or email the slide show to your TA or link the presentation to your web page (created in A6) and send the web address of your A7 presentation to your TA.  Of course with all three methods your marker must have either seen your presentation or else received an email regarding your assignment submission before the deadline.
