An assignment that correctly completes all of the steps outlined in the textbook, pays adequate attention to detail and fulfills any lab specific requirements can receive an A grade.
Checklist of points to watch for (note that any time that an assignment does not adequately fulfill a point on the checklist it will result in the loss of one letter grade e.g., A to B)
1) Any numeric data wrong
2) Printout of formulas missing (the printout must show the whole formula!)
3) Any formatting (fonts, alignments, fill colour) that does not match the solution
4) Any spelling mistakes
5) Cover sheet: if any info incorrect or missing results in the grade being reduced by one step (if the cover sheet is omitted altogether the grade of the assignment will drop down 2 steps e.g., A to C).
· Dont forget any additional instructions given in lab e.g., your lab TA may have given instructions on how to print the assignment so that it is legible (e.g., condensing the print, landscape printing etc).
· The lowest possible grade is an F
